Kolr (hereinafter referred to as “Kolr”, “Service”, “Company” or “us”) values the privacy of our users (hereinafter referred to as “Members”, “User” or “you”). To expound upon the methods by which we gather, utilise, and safeguard the personal data furnished to our Company, please read the following privacy protection policy.

This Privacy Policy is read in conjunction with and is deemed incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service. Use of Personal Data:

Improvement of products, optimisation and expansion of Service, jobs and works application and referral and planning of activities:

To perfect our Services, planning of activities, and other internal operations, we will collect the associated information concerning your User behaviour when using our Service, including but not limited to the information you browsed, the Service features you used, actions you took and your active periods, frequency and duration for our Company’s reference and statistics.

When you use or have access to Kolr, Kolr will automatically receive, collect and process  information using cookies and similar technology, including IP address, device identifiers, browser details, and information about usage of Kolr and related Internet activities (such as the site you came from, search engine(s) and keywords you used to find Kolr, the contents and pages you view within Kolr and view times). As part of continuing effort by Kolr in Services improvement and implementation, all data and information collected through Kolr may be combined with information obtained through other services. We may use services from other platforms/companies which enable us to derive a general geographic location based on your IP address or other factors in order to customize certain services to your geographic area.      

Other Commercial Use:

We will use the information we collected to help the Company and other associated partners for the purpose of notification of activities, measurement of marketing methods, improvement of customer management, analysis, and research of services and data.

In some cases, we use the widely accepted 256-bit SSL encryption mechanism to ensure the secure transmission of your Personal Data. Personal Data /information collected through  Kolr will be stored on servers located in Republic of China (Taiwan). All reasonable efforts and practical steps will be made to ensure that Personal Data/information held by Kolr will be protected against loss, misuse, modification, unauthorized or accidental access or disclosure, alteration or destruction. If necessary and expedient, such data may also be used and/or processed by our affiliates or by any of our service providers which include individuals engaged in, among other things, the fulfillment of your order, administration of an enquiry or request you make via our Service or the provision of support services.

     

*Reminder: Please keep your Personal Data and password secure. To prevent unauthorised access to your Personal Data, please make sure to log out or close the software or browser window when you have finished using our Service. You should update your password periodically to help to reduce the risks of unauthorized access to your account with us. You should strengthen your password with the combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, punctuation and other symbols. Do not share your password with anyone.

     

Your rights

Certain jurisdictions may impose specific legal requirements and grant privacy rights with respect to personal information including Personal Data, and we will use our reasonable endeavors to comply with such restrictions and any requests you submit as required by the applicable laws. You may be able to use Kolr to access, amend and update the information that you have provided to us through your use of  Kolr or otherwise. When you make a request, we may require that you provide information and follow procedures so that we can verify a request you make and your jurisdiction before responding to it. The verification steps we take may differ depending on your jurisdiction and the request you make. We will match the information that you provide in your request to information we already have on file to verify your identity. If we are able to verify your request, we will process it. If we cannot verify your request, we may ask you for additional information to help us verify your request. We will respond to your request within the time period required by applicable law. However, we may not always be able to fully comply with your request, and we will notify you in that event.

How to terminate the collection, processing, utilisation, and termination of my Personal Data:

You have the right to terminate any collection, processing, and utilisation of your Personal Data and may request the deletion of relevant Personal Data. Regarding the management of your Personal Data, you have the following rights:

Deletion Right: You have the right to request the deletion of any your Personal Data or any Personal Data that was provided by you.

Processing Restriction Right: You have the right to request us to permanently stop processing all or part of your Personal Data.

Objection Right: If you consented to our use of your information, you have the right to object to the processing of your data as well as third-party personal data keyed in by you at any time based on special circumstances related to you or the third party’s introduction of personal data. Data Portability Right: You have the right to request a copy of your personal data in electronic format and the right to request the transfer of personal data for use by another party’s services. However, you may need to bear the cost and administrative fees for assisting with this request.

Other rights according to Article 3 of the Taiwan Personal Data Protection Act.

However, when you exercise the above rights to manage your Personal Data, the full Services provided by us may be subject to corresponding limitations, and in some cases, the Company may even be unable to continue providing Services to you.

In accordance with this Privacy Policy and the position of protecting our Members, if you wish to terminate Kolr’s Services, you can apply through the “Contact Us” section of the customer service centre on this website.

Regarding the Use of Cookies/Cache:

Cookies/Cache are small text files from the website server to your device through the browser, primarily aimed at saving your valuable time. This Service will use Cookies/Cache to store, modify, or track information about your online browsing activities and when you register, log in, browse web pages, or log out. You can enable, disable, or restrict this feature in your browser settings.

Miscellaneous:

For the Personal Data and usage records you register in this Service, we will take appropriate steps and commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of data stored in our system.

*Reminder: In the event of third-party unlawful acts or force majeure events such as natural disasters or wars leading to the leakage or deletion of your Personal Data, the Company shall not be held responsible for such situations. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

All terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to principles of conflicts of law. Any disputes arising from this Privacy Policy and/or your use of this Service should be brought to our attention and resolved in good faith. If an agreement cannot be reached within 30 days, you agree that the Taipei District Court in the Republic of China (Taiwan) shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
